The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity takes place from 18th to 25th of January
Each year from 18-25th January, the Church prays in particular for the desire of Jesus that all his disciples be united as one. The theme and texts for the Week of Prayer this year has been prepared by an ecumenical group in Minnesota, USA. The theme is: “Do good; seek justice” (Isaiah 1:17)
Evening Prayer will be offered for this great desire of Jesus at 4.30pm each day at the Carmelite Monastery, Upper Kilmacud Road. More details of guest speakers can be found on the Church notice boards and on the Kilmacud Carmel website: www.kilmacudcarmel.ie.
All are welcome to come and pray with us any or all of the days. We also hope to have a live-stream each evening.
