Pope Francis is passionate about Jesus Christ and passionate about the Word of God. By inviting us to read the Word of God for ourselves, he hopes to help us all encounter Christ and catch again the energy and vision of the very first believers.

We invite you today to:
1. take a resource leaflet [available at the doors of the church] containing further information about reading the Gospel of Matthew this year and
2. visit the two prayer spaces in our church in honour of the first Sunday
of the Word of God;
(a) the Faith Space near the Gathering Area of the church and (b) the Sanctuary display which includes an icon of Jesus the Teacher holding the Gospels.
